Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the sixth respondent to approve the working sheets forwarded by the fifth respondent in his proceeding Letter No.Thou.1(3)/1103/ 2000 dated 26.03.2009, and consequently, direct the third respondent to disburse the enhanced compensation amount to the petitioners based on the order of this Court in W.P. No.18469 of 2010 dated 09.09.2019.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. Page Nos.3/6

Since this Writ Petition is only for a mandamus simpliciter to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.5409 of 2024 is closed.
6. W.M.P.No.5408 of 2024 is ordered on payment of separate Court fees by each of the petitioners.
