ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offences under Sections 379 of IPC r/w 21(i) (ii) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, in Crime No.181 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The petitioners are the owner and driver of the JCB, which was engaged to excavate the mineral illegally. When the team came in search of illegal mining, they have escaped from the scene of occurrence, abandoning the vehicle.
3. Considering the conduct of the petitioners and the gravity of the crime, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
