O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation pending on the file of the 2nd and 3rd respondents in Crime No.198/2022 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C., concerning a suspicious death, to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, under the jurisdiction of the first respondent.

2. Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent registered the F.I.R. in Crime No. 198 of 2022 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. After investigation, it was found that no other offense had been made out and the F.I.R. was closed with action dropped. The closure report was also filed before the concerned magistrate, however, no referred charge sheet has been served on the petitioner and therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent in Crime No. 198 of 2022.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The 2nd respondent is directed to serve the referred charge sheet notice to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of

a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition in the manner known to law, if so advised. 04.02.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order To,
