ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) It is submitted by Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnors, that the relevant order required the petitioner's representation to be considered.

2. A counter-affidavit has been filed in this matter in February, 2017 where the decision on the petitioner's representation has been indicated.

3. Thus, even if the decision may not have been communicated earlier, which culminated in the present contempt proceedings being instituted, the decision is evident from the counter-affidavit, a copy whereof must have been forwarded to the petitioner.

4. In such view of the matter, Contempt Petition No.2657 of 2016 is disposed of by leaving the petitioner free to pursue any remedy that may be available to the petitioner in respect of the decision taken on the petitioner's representation.

There will be no order as to costs.
