O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the petition in M.C. No. 7 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kancheepuram to Sub Court at Tambaram.

2. Heard Mr.Hasmukh S.Surana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Pasupathy, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. By an order of this Court dated 23.06.2017, parties were referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and after deliberations, they have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves.

The Mediation report dated 09.10.2017 also evidences the same and the relevant portion of the report is reads as follows;

"Both the parties appeared before the Centre along with their counsels. Matter has been settled between them as per the terms cited in the Memorandum of Settlement which is enclosed herewith. Hence the matter is sent back to the Hon'ble Court" Pursuant to the settlement, parties have entered into a Memorandum of Settlement dated 09.10.2017.

In view of the mediation report and the memorandum of settlement entered into between the parties, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
