CMA No.20 of 2024 N.ANAND VENKATESH.,J The matter is posted under the caption for Reporting compliance today. The Appeal was dismissed by an order dated 09.01.2024. While dismissing the appeal, a direction was given to the appellant to deposit the entire award amount along with the interest at the rate of 7.5% within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the judgement. The matter was thereafter posted for "reporting compliance"on 13.03.2024. When the matter came up for hearing on 13.03.2024, it was informed to this Court that the order copy was received only on 16.02.2024 and that the period of six weeks will expire only on 29.03.2024 and therefore, a request was made to extend the time limit. This Court directed the entire award amount to be deposited on or before 29.03.2024 and the matter was directed to be listed for Reporting compliance today. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel representing the appellant submitted that due to election, the amount is not able to be deposited and therefore, seeks for some more time. 3.

This Court is not convinced with the reasons assigned for the noncompliance of the directions issued by this Court.
