V.Sombu @ Somasundaram v. The Inspector Of Police
Crl.O.P.No.5734 of 2022 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.
The matter has been listed today under the caption "for clarification".
2. It is brought to the notice of this court that during pendency of the Criminal Original Petition, the first petitioner was arrested in this case and thereby this petition has become infructuous, insofar as the first petitioner is concerned and the court, being apprised of such development in the matter, dismissed the petition insofar as the first petitioner is concerned and granted anticipatory bail in respect of the second respondent alone and in this regard, two separate orders were typed, one in respect of dismissal of the petition as against the first petitioner and another in respect of grant of anticipatory bail to the second respondent, but, since two separate orders were typed, the Registry finds it difficult to issue certified copy of two orders of the same date in a single case.
3. Therefore, it is hereby clarified that the Registry shall issue certified copy of the order granting anticipatory bail to the second respondent by incorporating the following text in the first para of the order:- "Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the first petitioner was arrested. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.
arb/ssk In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this petition, in so for as the first petitioner is concerned, stands dismissed as having become infructuous."
4. The Registry is also directed to remove from the website the separate order dismissing the petition in so far as the first petitioner is concerned and ensure that a single order alone exists in the website. 27.04.2022.

Note to office:
