Respondents Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.403/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 19.06.2018 passed by second respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Siva S/o.Murthy, aged about 24 years, the detenu, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set the petitioner's son Siva S/o.Murthy, aged about 24 yeas, the detenu herein at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner is the mother of the detenu, Siva S/o.Murthy, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.403/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 19.06.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the son of petitioner in No.403/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 19.06.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3192, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 30.07.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
