(1) Rs.47,886/- to the first petitioner herein

(2) Rs.1,35,000/- to the second petitioner herein

(3) Rs.2,20,000/- to the third petitioner herein

(4) Rs.92,755/- to the fourth petitioner herein

(5) Rs.40,051/- to the fifth petitioner herein

(6) Rs.37,032/- to the sixth petitioner herein

with 6% interest from the date of retirement to date of payment by considering the representation of the first petitioner dated 19.01.2024, the second petitioner dated 13.10.2023, the third petitioner dated 01.11.2023, the fourth petitioner dated 05.01.2024, the fifth petitioner dated 18.12.2023 and the sixth petitioner dated 20.12.2023 to the respondent herein.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent herein to settle the E.L. Surrender Leave Salary amount pending to be settled to the petitioners herein with 6% interest from the date of retirement to date of payment by considering the representations submitted by the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with

law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
