ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC r/w Section 4 of Women Harassment Act, 2002, in Crime No.160 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police and hence, they seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the defacto complainant. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case and hence, they pray for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the victim has been discharged from the hospital. 5.Considering the fact that the injured has been discharged from the hospital and also the nature of the offence and also the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruvannamalai and on their executing a

bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] each, with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition to appear before the respondent police every Monday at 10.00 a.m for a period of two months and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of three weeks from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
