Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent dated 22.02.2011 in Letter No. C-3/4516/2008 and quash the same in respect of the insistence and demand for security deposit and caution deposit and contained in clauses iv, vi, vii and viii of the impugned letter and direct the 2nd respondent to issue the planning permission to the petitioner in respect of the proposed construction of Stilt Plus Ten Floors I.T. Building and Ground Floor and First Floor Service Block in S.Nos. 413/2/ 418/1A2, 418/2B, 420/1B, 421/3A, 412/2C, 418/1A3, 420/1C, and 421/3B in Ambattur Village, MTH Road, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai without insisting upon the security deposit for STP for Rs. 7,80,000.00 and security deposit of Rs.38,75,000.00 for building and Caution deposit Rs. 1,20,00,000.00 and Infrastructure and Amenities charges of Rs. 1,36,90,000.00.

Today, when the writ petition has taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement, which reads as follows:
"Since as per order of this Hon'ble Court dated 28.03.2011 passed in M.P.No. 1 of 2011, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner has issued Bank guarantees, instead of cash for caution deposit and security deposit. The bank guarantees were accepted by CMDA. The petitioner had competed construction and CMDA has given completion certificate on 02.01.2019. Therefore, the writ petition may be closed as infructuous."
