ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 26.12.2023, wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property for demarcation of the boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.B.Dhiyaneswaran for the petitioner, Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Vinothraja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 4 and 5.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the property based on the settlement deed in his favour registered as Document No.400 of 1985. The petitioner has also placed reliance upon the joint Patta that was issued in Patta No.649. The petitioner wanted to conduct survey in the subject property and hence made the online application and paid the necessary charges. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title document and the joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. The survey shall be conducted in the presence of the sixth respondent. If any law and order problem occurs, the fifth respondent shall provide necessary police protection. This order shall be complied within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
