ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the revision petition of the petitioner dated 15.12.2022 pending before the 2nd respondent and to dispose the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. As against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer refused to give patta to the petitioner, the petitioner has filed a revision petition under Section 13 of the Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 to the second respondent District Revenue Officer on 15.12.2022 and in order to consider the said revision and to pass orders thereon on merits by the second respondent, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Mr.L.Poovendra Perumal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said revision dated 15.12.2022 filed by the petitioner and pending before the second respondent would be considered by him on merits and in accordance with law of-course by giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the rival parties, if any within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the second respondent District Revenue Officer to consider the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 15.12.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, of-course after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the rival parties, if any within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
