Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly the second herein to consider petitioner representation dated 30.03.2015 and grant patta in favour of petitioner in property situated at No.107, bearing Survey No.223/A, Patta No.1312 to an extent of 3770 square feet at Perugalathur village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District in accordance with law.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.03.2015 for transfer of patta in his name in respect of the property situated at No.107, bearing Survey No.223/A, admeasuring to an extent of 3770 square feet located at Perugalathur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District, which was purchased by means of registered sale deed on 09.11.2006 registered as Document No.7005 of 2006 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Tambaram and since it has not been disposed of, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submission of Mr.T.Arul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents.

4.This Court without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation/ application submitted by the petitioner for transfer of patta, in accordance with law after putting on notice to the persons concerned, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
