Respondents in all W.Ps Common Prayer: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee for the grant of Auto rickshaw permit to operate the vehicle within radius of 30km distance from Yercaud Bus Stand, Salem. Mrs.R.Anitha Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER Since the issue raised in these writ petitions are the same, with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for both sides, these writ petitions were heard together and are disposed by this common order. 1/4

In all these writ petitions, the respective writ petitioners have made application to the respondent for getting auto rickshaw permit in CCPA application form and in order to consider these applications and to pass necessary orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, the petitioners have moved the respective writ petitions.

3. Heard Mr.A.Ganesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that, the applications, submitted in the prescribed format, would be considered and decided by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law and the needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in these writ petitions and having regard to the stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representations, in the prescribed format, filed by the petitioners in these writ petitions and decide the same by passing orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 2/4

eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
