Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.05.2007, 10.06.2009, 07.02.2013 and 13.12.2014 for issuing patta for the petitioner's land, situated at Pullurambakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District land measuring of 35 cents out of 1.62 acres in S.No.429 bounded on the East by burial Ground compound wall, West by House of Natesan and others and North by Panchayat Road, South by House of Palani. By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner submitted two representations dated 07.02.2013 and 13.12.2014 praying for patta in respect of the lands admeasuring to an extent of 35 cents out of 1.62 acres in S.No.429 in Pullurambakkam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk and District by enclosing necessary documents. Though both the representations/ applications were acknowledged, he has not been favoured with any response and hence he came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.A.T.Jayaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents. 4.

This Court without going into the merits of the above said representations/ applications, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representations/ applications dated 07.02.2013 and 13.12.2014 in accordance with law after putting on notice to the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
