The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the respondent Police made a search before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur and they were not able to trace the bundle.

Considering the fact that the closure report was filed in the year 2013 and the earlier Criminal Original Petition was closed in the year 2016, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings pending.
