ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.482 of 2012, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On a reading of the FIR in this case, the allegation relates to misappropriation of funds in the Sarvodhya Sangh and for such an offence, it may be necessary to involve specilised agencies like CCIW or Central Crime Branch. Since CCIW has been created for investigating fraud in Co-operative Societies, this Court is of the view that it will serve the interest of justice, if the case is transferred from the file of the Inspector of Police, B-12 Police Station, Ukkadam, Coimbatore, to the file of the Inspector of Police, CCIW, Coimbatore. Accordingly, the case in Crime No.482 of 2012 is transferred to the Inspector of Police, CCIW, Coimbatore who shall expeditiously conduct the investigation in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The respondent is directed to hand over the entire case diary to the Inspector of Police, CCIW, Coimbatore, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the concerned officer shall allocate the case to the competent officer for investigation. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
