Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide adequate and effective police protection to the petitioner life and limb, including the deployment of two armed guards for petitioner and his family, based on his representation dated 04.12.2025. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 04.12.2025 requesting to provide adequate police protection but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the material available on record. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
