ORDER

*"This writ petition has been filed by Mr.C.Sengottaiyan, who was imposed with the punishment of stoppage of increment for two years with cumulative effect, after holding enquiry preceded by charge memo dated 3.1.2002, by way of punishment in a departmental proceedings".

2. Seeking a limited prayer of a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the pending revision dated 6.3.2003 on merits and in accordance with law, as the appeal was also dismissed by the second respondent on 27.1.2003.

3. Mr.P.R.Dhgilipkumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents.

4. As the revision petition has been pending for quite a long time and it is not known as to why the first respondent has not come forward to dispose of the same, the first respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the pending revision petition filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order without any further delay.
