O R D E R

The captioned writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of certiorari assailing the communication dated 17.05.2016 issued by the third respondent. By the said communication, the petitioner has been called upon to furnish Aadhar details with EDP division on or before 25.05.2016, failing which, biometric card which is ready for issue will not be issued and any delay in this regard, will be viewed very seriously by the administration.

2. This Court had granted an interim order of stay on 25.05.2016 and it is in force as on today.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner has been dismissed from service following a departmental enquiry on 03.06.2024 and the order of dismissal is challenged by the petitioner before this Court in W.P. No.15177 of 2025 and there is no interim order of 2/4

stay operating in favour of the petitioner as of today. The aforesaid submissions are placed on record.

4. There is no representation for the petitioner. When the matter was called in the forenoon session, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, and even when the matter was taken up in the post-lunch session, none appears for the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed, and the interim order granted by this Court on 25.05.2016 stands vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
