This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.4040 of 2022 dated 28.02.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks modification of the bail condition to report before the Investigation Officer daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

3. In view of the fact that another case by the same defacto complainant has been registered and apprehending arrest while reporting before the Investigation Officer in compliance with the court order, this court finds some force in the same.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police has stated that if the petitioner does not cooperate for the investigation, then it will be difficult for the Investigation Officer to file his final report within a reasonable time and therefore, the petitioner shall be directed to appear before the Investigation Officer as and when required for investigation in this case.

5. Considering the above said submissions, the condition imposed on the petitioner to report before the Investigating Officer daily at 10.30 a.m., until further https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

Gv/Vv orders, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the Special Court, CBCID, Egmore, daily at 10.30 a.m., and shall answer the summons under Section 41 (a) to be issued by the Investigation Officer for investigation as and when required.
