This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to the second respondent, Revenue Inspector, Surveyor and Village Administrative Officer, Valangaiman while inspecting and measuring the property based on the petitioner's application dated 23.011.2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had owned a land to an extent of Hectare 0.01.17 ares out of an extent of hectare 0.0700 ares comprised in Survey No.107B/6A situated at Utthamadanapuram Village, Valangaiman Taluk, Thiruvarur District by a registered sale deed bearing Document No.1952 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020 executed by one Thirugananasammandham registered on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Papanasam.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had applied for patta and also submitted application for 2/5
surveying the land. When the revenue officials has inspected the subject property to survey the same, the villagers of the same locality have obstructed the revenue officials from measuring the property and also to survey the same.
4. In view of the above, the Revenue Inspector, Surveyor have suffered any perception from the villagers, while surveying the petitioner's land , they can very well ask for police protection before the third respondent. On such request, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass order to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's land in the manner known to law.
5. With the above, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs. 25.02.2025 Vv To
