This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner herein to the post of Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) for the year 2010-11 based on the inclusion of his name in the panel published by the first respondent in G.O.Ms.No.123 Agri. (AA1) Department dated 12.08.2011, with effect from the date on which the third respondent herein came to be promoted with all consequential attendant service and monetary benefits and disburse all the arrears accrued thereon within a short date that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that
the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous and he had also made an endorsement to that effect.
