ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to measure the petitioner's land to an extent of 0.72 cents bearing Patta No.1749 situated at Survey No.62/1B, Ramireddipatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District and fix the boundaries along with necessary police protection, by considering his representation dated 30.01.2023 within the time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner in order to survey his land at Survey No.62/1B situated at Ramireddipatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District has filed a representation on 30.01.2023 to the first respondent Tahsildar and in order to consider the said representation and to do the needful seeking a direction by way of mandamus, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Ms.G.Ambika, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for th respondents.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that, since the application itself was submitted on 30.01.2023, the first respondent Tahsildar requested a reasonable time because already similar nature of this application since have been filed that has to be attended. Hence, he seeks a reasonable period, he contended.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and do the needful, if it is otherwise in order, for which, the petitioner also shall pay the necessary fee through on-line, to survey the land within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
