[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that, he is the grandson of Rathinam,who is a convict prisoner (CT.No.20221) and is confined in the Central Prison, Trichy. The petitioner gave an application for ordinary leave dated 25.02.2021, which was received by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Trichy on 02.03.2021, in which, the petitioner sought 90 days ordinary leave for his grandfather Rathinam for the medical treatment of Rathinam's wife as she is stated to be suffering from cancer. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the above prayer.

2. Today, when this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

request of the petitioner was considered and has been rejected by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Trichy, by order dated 03.03.2021 and a copy of the said order has also been sent to the petitioner and has also been served on the convict prisoner. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submitted that he will also send a copy of the order by e-mail to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 03.03.2021, if so advised. No costs.
