O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction to the learned 1st Additional Sub Judge, Cuddalore for the early disposal of the suit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The grievance of the revision petitioner is that he filed the suit in the year 2011. On 11.01.2012, the defendant has entered appearance and written statement filed by the defendants on 20.06.2012, the suit was posted for framing issues on 26.06.2012. Thereafter, the trial was commenced from 28.08.2012 to 01.08.2013. An interlocutory application in I.A.No.163 of 2013 came to be filed and it was adjourned for more than 55 hearings. On 25.11.2016, the said I.A. was closed and on 09.12.2016, evidence of defendants' side was also closed. The suit was posted for plaintiff's side arguments from 21.12.2016. Inspite of there being more than 10 adjournments, the suit is not disposed of. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this revision for the above stated relief.

4. On perusal of the records that the suit was pending for long time, it is on the argument stage. Therefore, it is a fit case to issue a direction to the trial court to dispose of the suit.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court directs the learned 1st additional Sub Judge, Cuddalore, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.202 of 2011, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
