O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue direction to the respondent to grant permission and provide police protection to the petitioner's village to conduct the music programme on 04.03.2020 at about evening hours of the consecrated Temple festival of Sri Veer Anjanyear temple, at Raantham village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District which is scheduled to be held from 02.03.2020 to 04.03.2020 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2020 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that since there are rival groups, the respondent may be directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation and pass order in accordance with law. 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2020 after giving opportunity to the petitioner and also rival group if any and dispose of the same in accordance with law on or before 02.03.2020 and inform the result to the petitioner.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of Sd/- Assistant Registrar(C.O.) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
