O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18/2/2021.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is a physically challenged person with 87% of disability and is working as a Helper in a food stall, on daily wage basis. The said food stall was closed, during the pandemic period and now he is jobless. Since he is having an experience in the food stall, he made a request to the respondent to consider his case to erect a bunk shop at Alikulam link road, in front of Alikulam Trade Complex, Chennai. Since the same has not been considered the petitioner has come forward to file the instant writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.

3. Ms.Ramadevi learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner was not allotted any shop in the said place in front of Alikulam Trade Complex. Moreover the said area is a very narrow lane and of highly traffic area and hence, the place has not been identified.

4. In view of the rival submissions made this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, sympathetically since he is a physically challenged person, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
