Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records on the file of the 1st respondent herein for selection of post Lecturer (Engineering/Non-Engineering) for Government Polytechnic Colleges dated 18.10.2012 and quash the same and direct the respondents to take appropriate action to appoint the petitioner herein as Lecturer (Engineering/Non-Engineering) under the Schedule Caste category for the post of 12PT07.

This writ petition came up for consideration earlier on 08.02.2023. As there was no representation for the petitioner, the same was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". Today also when the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal" again there is no representation for the petitioner either in the pre-lunch or post-lunch session.

2. Considering the fact that there is no representation of the petitioner and the petition is of the year 2012, this court finds no other alternative except dismissing the same for non-prosecution.
