Though the writ petitioner has filed this writ petition for a larger relief of reinstatement, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner restricted his prayer to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner to the first
respondent - Registrar, Thiruvalluvar University.
2. The writ petitioner claim that she applied for the post of lecturer in Computer Science to the Principal, Thiruvalluvar University College of Arts and Science, Thennangur Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and the Principal appointed her as lecturer for Computer Science with a salary of Rs.6,000/- per month. The petitioner was discharging her duties promptly. Subsequently, on flimsy grounds, she was discharged from service. Questioning the same, the present writ petition is filed.
3. However, in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, this Court, is inclined to consider the restricted relief sought for.
4. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 21.07.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
