ORDER
The petitioner herein, is aggrieved against the nonselection of his candidature to the post of Lecturer in the Government Engineering Colleges/Polytechnic in the recruitment process conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board for the year 2005-06.
The qualifications prescribed for such appointment to the post of Lecturers in Engineering, as per the notification, is first class in Bachelor's Degree in the branch of Engineering relating to the post concerned. Admittedly, the recruitment for the post of Lecturers is for Engineering subjects. The petitioner herein possesses B.Sc. Chemistry with M.E. in Metallurgical Engineering. His qualification is not in conformity with the qualifications prescribed in the recruitment notification.
2. As such, I do not find any infirmity in the impugned order dated 20.07.2009, which rejects his request for appointment on the ground that he does not possess the required qualifications.
