ORDER

The transfer petition is filed to withdraw HMOP.No.224 of 2024 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Chengalpet and to transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

2. The petitioner married the respondent on 24.08.2018 at Thiruporur, Chennai. Thereafter, due to differences of opinion the parties separated resulting in filing of HMOP by the respondent / husband seeking divorce.

3. The petitioner would submit that presently she is living at Chennai and she cannot travel to Chengalpet to attend every hearings. The petitioner would further submit that the respondent is also staying 2/5

at Chennai. Therefore, it would be convenient for both the parties if the matter is transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

4. Heard the learned counsel and perused the records.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the transfer petition is allowed. HMOP.No.224 of 2024 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Chengalpet is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
