Respondent PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to issue suitable directions directing the Special Court and Principal sessions Court, Puducherry to accept the sureties offered by the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 06.05.2015 passed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.O.P.No.11810 of 2015 in Spl. C.C.No.1 of 2005 pending on the file of the Special Court and Principal Sessions Court, Puducherry.

O R D E R

This Court while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, imposed a condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and further directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned court on 01.06.2015.

2. As per the direction, the petitioner appeared before the concerned court on 01.06.2015 and filed a surrender petition with sureties. But, the petition was returned without assigning any reason. In the mean time, the time granted by the court had expired. Hence, the present petition has been filed for extension of time. The petitioner herein has challenged the said order in the present Crl.O.P.No.14085/2015 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the submissions, without going into other aspects, the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.11810 of 2015, dated 06.05.2015 is modified to the following effect : (i) that the petitioner is directed to execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the Special Court and Principal Sessions Court, Puducherry. (ii) Except this modification, other conditions remain unaltered.

(iii) It is made clear that no further extension will be given.
