This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 22.02.2021 for appointment of the petitioner as Night Watchman at Vepannapalli Block, Krishnagiri District.

2. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Govt.Pleader takes notice for R1 and Mr.E.Neelakandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for R2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner was appointed as Masalji on part time basis and his request for regularisation was rejected on 04.12.2020. When the petitioner's case for regularisation was rejected, he has no right to seek for appointment as a Night Watchman. It is an indirect way of making an application for appointment with the help of the orders of this Court.

4. Though the petitioner has sought for a limited prayer of disposal of the representation, the grant of such blanket direction will give raise to one more litigation and therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
