ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey, measure and sub-divide the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on his representation dated 12.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Since the aforesaid representation has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party as they deem fit. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the respondents to complete the survey and sub-divide the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.12.2025, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing
the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom they deem fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the respondents shall issue a separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner. The respondents are directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
