This writ petition is filed with a prayer to call for the records in respect of notification dated 5.8.2013 and consequently direct the Respondent No.1 to appoint the petitioners whose names are included in the select list prepared on the basis of notification issued in the year 2009.

2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the impugned notification itself is dropped.

3. Therefore, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition. Thus this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
