[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that her husband viz. Senthilkumar, aged 50 years, went missing sometime in 2019 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure him.
2. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Kadathur P.S. Crime No.101 of 2021 has been registered for 'man missing' and investigation is in progress.
3. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Harur Sub-Division to monitor the investigation in Kadathur P.S. Crime No.101 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenu viz. Senthilkumar is secured, he shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Pappireddipatti, Dharmapuri District, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to the custody of the detenu.
