This Court appreciates the earnest steps taken by the respondent police in executing the Non-Bailable Warrant on the respondent/ accused, which has been kept pending from the year 2018 and now the same is finally executed.
2. After execution of the Non-Bailable Warrant, the accused has come forward for a settlement with the complainant. The complainant filed a memo stating that the issue resolved between them and the entire amount pertaining to C.C.Nos.2694 of 2013, 2700 of 2013 and 2890 of 2013 have been settled. In view of the compromise, a Demand Draft for Rs.15,00,000/- in D.D.No.255453 dated 18.04.2022 of Indian Bank, Saidapet Branch was received. The complainant filed petition for advance hearing of the same before the lower Court and when the three cases are listed, all the three cases would be withdrawn under Sections 257 or 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. The sum and substance is that the petitioner is no more inclined to proceed against the accused and the issue between them resolved, which is a compoundable offence.
4. Recording the same, these petitions are disposed of.
