ORDER

The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed in W.P.No.39578 of 2015 dated 16.12.2015, came forward to file the present contempt petition.

2. Heard Mr. R.Murugabharathi, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate for respondent.

3. Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate reports that the order and direction issued by this Court has been complied with and levy has been fixed payable by the seventh respondent in the writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an uniform amount has been fixed for all these years.

4. In any event, the official respondent having fixed the levy, this Court while closing the contempt petition, gives liberty to the petitioner to move the appropriate forum, if still the petitioner has a grievance. This Court has specifically observes that liberty is given to the petitioner Tmt.T.Malavizhi, because it is her efforts in approaching the Court for fixing the levy and as on date, there is no Elected body and the Panchayat is represented by a Special Officer.

5. With the above observations, the Contempt Petition is closed.
