COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent.

2. The petitioners are seeking to quash the notices dated 19.12.2018 issued by the respondent. The said notices are issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The said notices are only show cause notices, hence, it is too premature to interfere with the same. It is an admitted fact that the petitioners have replied to the said notices vide communication dated 02.01.2019.

3. In view of the above, the respondent to consider the replies sent by the petitioners and thereafter, proceed in accordance with law. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed in these writ petitions and the writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.11118 to 11121 and 11123 of 2019 are also closed.
