ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned rejection letter of the second respondent refusing to consider the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds.

2. Heard Mr.S. Sairaman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P. Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the considered view of this Court, this Writ Petition is not maintainable since, as against the proceedings of the second respondent, the petitioner will have to file a Revision Petition under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act. Without exhausting this remedy, this petitioner cannot approach this Court directly by filing the Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed by giving an opportunity to the petitioner to work out his remedy by filing the revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act. No costs.
