PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.492 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police Jedarpalayam Police Station for the ends of justice.

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.492 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police Jedarpalayam Police Station.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) on the instruction from Mr.Somasuntharam, Grade I police attached to the second respondent police station would submit that investigation in Crime No.492 of 2020 has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramathy as early as on 04.03.2021.

3. In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramathy to take the final report in Crime No.492 of 2020 on file of Jedarpalayam Police Station and number it at the earliest.
