O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to settle the pension and other service benefits to the petitioner on the basis of his compulsory retirement. 2.

The petitioner was appointed as Head Constable on 01.07.1974. Based on a complaint, he was served with charge memo under Rule 3B of Police Disciplinary Rules, 1955. After departmental enquiry, he was placed on compulsory retirement awarded by the Superintendent of Police by an order dated 05.01.1994. The petitioner challenged the order of compulsory retirement and failed up to Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal. However, the petitioner was not settled with any final settlement and pension. 3.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner had submitted representation with a request to sanction of pensionary benefits of SPF, TLS and DCRG, etc. Based on the request, he was paid all the benefits and he is now receiving pension.

Recording the said submissions, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
