(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) It is submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the result of the election, which was held on 04.3.2022, to the post of Chairman of Valparai Municipality, has been declared. Thus, the writ petition has become infructuous.

2. In view of the said submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected WMP is also dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
