.. Respondents PRAYER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to revise the Pension and reimburse the amount due to the petitioner on account of modification of punishment from reduction in pay to cut in pension of Rs.100 pm. ordered by the 2nd respondent in his Proc. No. RC Ser.7(2)/26046/2011 dated 03.05.2018 within a reasonable time.

O R D E R

Though the prayer in the present writ petition is for a direction to revise the pension, the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner confines the prayer, by stating that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner.

2. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that revision of pension as applicable to him under the rules has not been considered. The petitioner submitted a representation on 09.11.2018 and on 08.12.2019. Thus, without going in to the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner on 09.11.2018 and on 08.02.2019 and pass orders, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copies of the representation and all other relevant orders, if any along with the order passed in this present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
