[Order of the Court was delivered by N.MALA, J.,] The above Review Petition is filed to review the orders made in WP.No.3923 of 2023.
2. Mr.P.R.Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.
3. Mr.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the review petitioners submitted that in paragraph no.14 of the impugned order, a direction was issued to the 1st respondent ie., the Chair Person, Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee, to issue community certificate. However, it is pointed out by the learned Additional Advocate General that the appropriate authority to issue the said community certificate is only the Revenue Divisional Officer. Hence, on the said Page 2/4
short ground, the review application has been filed.
4. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General and also taking into account the fact that the Revenue Divisional Officer was not a party in the writ proceedings, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent in the writ petition i.e, the District Collector, to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer to issue community certificate to the writ petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Review Application is allowed with the above observations. No costs.
