Manoharan [Convict No.4359], has to undergo as per Judgment dated
08.01.2015 in Special Case No.5/2004, on the file of the Sepcial Judge, Cuddalore, which was confirmed by Appellate Courts, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2024 and to pass such other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper upon the facts and circumstances of the case.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition has been instituted for directing the respondents 1 to 4, to grant remission of the part of the punishment of petitioner's father namely Mr. V. Manoharan [Convict No.4359], has to undergo as per Judgment dated 08.01.2015 in Special Case No.5/2004, on the file of the Sepcial Judge, Cuddalore, which was confirmed by Appellate Courts, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2024 and to pass such other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper upon the facts and circumstances of the case.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the
detenue has already been released prematurely, pursuant to the order passed by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.480, Home (Prison-IVA) Department, dated 22.08.2024.
3.Thus, no further adjudication is required. Consequently, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
