The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to provide Educational loan for sum of Rs.4,02,600/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Two Thousand Six Hundred Only) for three years, as per the Bonafide cum fee certificate, dated 21.07.2023 issued by the Vels Institute of Science Technologies and Advanced Studies, Velan Nagar, P.V.Vaithyalingam Road, Pallavaram, Chennai-117, without insisting to give security. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's son is pursuing B.Sc.(Aeronautical Science) at Vels Institute of Science Technologies and Advanced Studies, Velan Nagar, P.V.Vaithyalingam Road, Pallavaram, Chennai and the petitioner applied for educational 2/4

loan for her son to the second respondent and since there was no response, has filed this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issue direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2023 as per the RBI guidelines dated April 28, 2001 and to pass appropriate orders.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered as per the RBI guidelines dated April 28, 2001 and appropriate orders will be passed.

5.Considering the limited request now made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2023 as per the RBI guidelines dated April 28, 2001 and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
