ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner dated 5.7.2013 u/s.48B of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 2.

On the face of the records, this Court is of the view that the prayer in the Writ Petition is not maintainable since the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 was revised by the New Act, 2013.

Consequently, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner also states that he is unable to get any instructions from the petitioner side since the petitioner is also died during the pendency of the writ petition. 4.

Recording the said statement of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs.
